Lauren Shadid Architecture + Interiors  specializes in custom residential design.  Our comprehensive approach integrates both the interior and the exterior of the home for total harmony.

Whether designing a home for new construction, or remodeling and adding on to an existing home Lauren thoughtfully considers the homeowner’s needs.  She welcomes a diverse range of architectural styles in her work from traditional to transitional to modern.  Lauren champions each project from initial concepts through the construction process.  Clients and contractors value her attention to detail, responsiveness and collaborative approach which ensures successful projects.

Lauren has nearly 30 years of architectural experience including work in historic preservation, high-end corporate interiors, and custom residential design. Prior to founding her own firm in 2003, Lauren worked for world-renowned firms including Gensler Los Angeles, Gensler Washington, DC and Quinn Evans Architects.   

Lauren is licensed in Colorado.  She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), The U.S. Green Building Council, Colorado Chapter, and is LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).  Lauren currently serves on the AIA Colorado Sustainability Working Group.
